Vitasoy International Holdings Limited released its Sustainability Report 2025/26 on 16 July 2026, marking the close of its previous five-year sustainability cycle and the beginning of a more ambitious phase through to FY2030/31.

Vitasoy Sets Bolder Sustainability Goals

The Group reported that it successfully achieved all portfolio goals and most manufacturing targets over the past cycle.

"This year marks a new chapter in Vitasoy's sustainability journey," said Group CEO Roberto Guidetti. "We remain committed to delivering nutritious plant-based products that are 'good for people' and 'good for the planet', producing responsibly with minimal environmental impact."

A More Ambitious Product Portfolio Target

As Vitasoy enters its next five-year cycle, it has raised the bar on healthier product offerings. By FY2030/31, 80% of its product portfolio will be low sugar or no added sugar, defined as containing no more than 5g of total sugar or no added sugar per 100ml/g. The Group says this enhanced target reflects its commitment to meeting evolving consumer health expectations while also lowering its carbon footprint.

Vitasoy No Added Sugar: Products with no added sugars, including honey, malt, malt extracts, and vegetable or fruit juice concentrates used for sweetening.

Strengthening the Supply Chain

Vitasoy continued to expand sustainability efforts across its value chain. The Group collected key environmental data through a pilot programme to estimate Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, and provided training and feedback reports to support suppliers' sustainability performance. More than 40% of critical suppliers with manufacturing and/or labour-intensive operations participated in its supplier environmental and social performance audit programme.

Addressing Climate and Nature Risks

During the year, Vitasoy launched assessments for key raw materials — soy, oats, dairy and sugar — aligned with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). The assessments aim to identify, monitor and mitigate risks linked to deforestation, biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation across its value chain.

Investing in Community Health and Education

Beyond its operations, Vitasoy continued its community outreach through education. In the Chinese Mainland, its multi-year Community Care Programme, launched in 2021, provided around 6.5 million packs of Vitasoy Low Sugar Soyabean Milk to approximately 14,000 children. In Hong Kong SAR, the Group's Journey of Nutrition Exploration programme engaged more than 1,800 students from 65 schools and organisations in activities on plant-based nutrition and environmental awareness. More than 90% of participants reported increased willingness to recycle.
