Riso Scotti is one of Italy's oldest and most respected rice milling companies, founded in 1860 in Pavia — in the heart of northern Italy — with a focus on rice cultivation, processing and the development of rice-based food products. The group today produces and distributes approximately 400 products globally, ranging from traditional Italian rice varieties to functional rice-based foods and beverages, including rice and soy milk, rice pasta and brown rice oil.

Under the leadership of fifth-generation president Dario Scotti, the group works with 2,000 farming partners and employs 400 staff. It commands a 72% share of the Italian restaurant rice market, exports to 86 countries worldwide, and recorded an annual turnover of over 300 million euros as of 2024.
